REVIEW: H&M Nail Polish

Whilst out shopping recently (giving myself a break from Uni work, sob) I popped into H&M, I think it was for a basic Tee, to use in my last University project. Anyways, as I was queuing to pay for my item, I noticed a range of nail polishes placed ever so naughtily by the till. With a myriad of colours the collection caught my eye and at only £2.99 a polish, I couldn't resist. Normally, these small impulse purchases are a bit of a dud, and so frequently become untouched. However, this time I fell in love.

H&M Nail Polish £2.99 - Blue My Mind & Wanna Pepperoni

The colour pay-of with these polishes is one of the best I have experienced from a high street, low cost brand. With one to two coats you achieve a brilliant opaque colour, that proves to be extremely durable used with a good topcoat (I recommend Sally Hansen - Hard as Nails).  The range of colours is really impressive too, from a classic deep red, to your glitters and metallics, I feel the collection meets many nail polish and wardrobe needs.
For the quality these nail polishes compete with high end brands - I think the packaging is sleek and the names are incredibly cute and for the price you can't really go wrong.

"Blue My Mind" (above) has fast become my go-to nail polish. I'm forever looking for the perfect blue, this I feel is one of the best I have tried. It's so true to colour and looks amazing especially painted on some tanned toes...

Who said "blue & green should never be seen" eh?

I've always been a bit daunted by green nail polishes - know one wants to look like they have fungle bogie nails do they! But "Wanna Pepporoni" .. which can I just say is one of the best names I've heard, put my fungle bogie nail woes in the past. This colour is really unusual, but very subtle at the same time - Again it's so true to colour and applies beautifully.

I'd love to know if you've tried any of the H&M nail polishes and if you recommend any other colours to try?

Lots of Love x
