HAUL: ZARA, RIVER ISLAND & MORE..

Zara Frill Knit - £39.99
Zara Light Weight Jeans - £25.99
Zarah Gathered Shorts With Pockets - £39.99
Zara Bag - £19.99
River Island Orange Snakeskin Wedges - £35.00
Primark Sunglasses - £3.00, Hair Ties - £1, Slippers £3.00, Boots Bio Oil - £8.00

Just a few bits I picked up on a recent shopping trip.. I felt my wardrobe was in need of a few new additions, I was getting completely bored of what I had.

Like many other people at the moment, I'm obsessing over Zara. I have always been a fan of their clothes, since being quite young actually. I just find it fits me really well, so I often stock up on their jeans and basics. I'm completely in love with the Zara frill knit, it's the most beautiful pastel mint shade (the camera doesn't do it any justice) I've been wearing it zipped up with jeans and cute pumps.
I picked up a handbag in Zara too, I couldn't believe the price at £20.00 - Such a bargain. It has really subtle rose-gold hard wear, and flat top studs on the base - Very Alexander Wang!

My only purchase from River Island was these funky flat forms - I was umming and arrrring over them for ages, but had to treat myself. At the time I tried them on with black skinny jeans and a cosy knit and they looked fab, however I wore them on a night out with the Zara Gathered Shorts and they looked really cool - Not too "try hard" and super comfy. I highly recommend...

Lastly is just a couple of miscellaneous items I picked up in Primark and Boots. I couldn't resist the sunglasses - don't worry I'm not planning on sporting them day-to-day. Strictly fancy dress box. Another Item I couldn't resist were these cute little frog slipper. How adorable, they also look sweet paired with my Zara Frill Knit for lounging around the house. Bio-Oil has been on the top of my shopping list for months, it's always one of those things I forget when mooching in Boots.

Hope you enjoy xxxx

REVIEW: SAMPLE OF BENEFIT THE PORE FESSIONAL

Glamour Magazine, July 2012

It's that time of year again when women's bible - Glamour Magazine team up with the lovely Benefit Cosmetics to provide us with some scrummy freebees (a students best friend). With a choice of cult favourites "Bad Gal Lash", "That Gal, Brightening Face Primer" or "The Pore Fessional"- My large-pored-self naturally went for the "The Pore Fessional".
Having been battling against large pores for a good couple of years now (Me 0 - Pores 100000) I have been searching for anything that can fill in the little craters on my face... I think I have finally found it. The sample of the pore minimising balm you get free with the £2 July addition with the magazine is actually a fair size, considering it looks teeny weeny placed on my make-up table. It's 7ml, and after a week of using it, I'm still going strong - This may well be due to the fact that you need the tiniest blob to cover the areas needed to fill in those cheeky pores.
The consistency is almost like a primer, it feel extremely silky on the skin, disappearing as soon as you apply and blend it, leaving the skin smooth as a babies bot and ready to rock. I've used the minimising balm with both a my Laura Mercier Mineral Powder and my Estee Lauder Double Wear Light - It works a treat with both types of foundation, challenging the eye to a game of "Spot My Pores".
So kudos to Benefit and Glamour you've made a girl very happy and tomorrow I will be popping to my local counter (an hour away, living in the countryside is NOT helpful) to purchase a full size of the marvellous miracle cream "Pore Fessional" and might even have a peak at some other Benefit products, anyone recommend me some to try out? Would love to know your favourites...

Lots of Love,
